Becoming a DouTographer in 2022 was the best decision I've made that God has granted me. Offering a package that includes both birth photography and doula services, is a great option for clients who do not want a over crowded birth room.

I provide the extra set of hands and support of physical relief as well as images of your birth experience. Additionally, I bring my camera to your prenatal visit (you choice) for a mini maternity session OR a short postpartum film at home with your baby and family.

As your doula: I will provide a wide range of prenatal appointments where we will discuss your birth plans and how I can best support you in having the birth experience you desire - be it through empowerment, education or physical support before, during and after the birth. As a Childbirth Educator and Lactation Counselor, I have come up with my own series & style that incorporates the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of pregnancy, birth and beyond.

As your birth photographer: I will document your birth from active pushing through the newborn exam and edit approximately 40+ images in both color and black-and-white for you to download. I will then follow up with a postpartum First 48 session to be sure you are feeling supported during the healing process and transition with your new baby.

My sole mission as a doula is helping birthing moms feel grounded, in control, safe and strong, and I’ve been documenting births for over 16 years. So if you prefer to have fewer people in your birth space, hiring a “DouTographer” can be a real blessing.
